The animals
Every morning, fresh eggs are collected from our chicken coop, which houses more than ten
chickens. They are fed daily with corn and natural seeds by my grandmother Rosina, but they
also enjoy pecking at whatever else they find and like.
The eggs are the base of many traditional dishes prepared in our home, such as fresh pasta,
eggplant parmigiana, meatballs in tomato sauce, lasagna, and classic Italian recipes like
Tiramisu.
